It has also been granted permission to run Postgraduate degree Programmes in 18 different specialities with effect from the academic year 1997-98, of which 17 Postgraduate Degrees are already recognised by the Medical Council of India and the Government of India.
The Rajah Muthiah Medical College and Hospital are developing rapidly under the benevolent guidance and able leadership of our Founder-Pro-Chancellor, Dr. M.A.M. Ramaswamy and the Vice-Chancellors. With the acquisition of a C.T. Scan and colour Doppler in April 1998 and the MRI (1.5 Tesla) in 2006, the Rajah Muthiah Medical College Hospital has joined a select band of sophisticated hospitals in the country.
